New in the program: our seminars

Those who can't do, teach! This is a famous quote from Woody Allen that has been the subject of much controversy. We would also like to contradict the master and simply turn the quote around: those who can, teach!

True to this motto, we want to start in January to pass on our knowledge of wine, cheese and sardines in our own seminars. But it definitely won't be like school! Instead, we invite a small group of a maximum of 12 participants to get to know, taste, discover and experience the different tastes and possible combinations of certain products with us. But of course we also give you a bit of background knowledge ...

  • Les classiques , Thursday 21 January, 8:15 p.m. - 10:15 p.m
    €40 for 5 cheeses and 5 wines, including an aperitif, bread and butter
    In this seminar you can taste our favorite cheese classics in combination with the right wines. Find out more about the region, maturation and history, but also about very practical topics such as storage and cutting techniques.

  • When in doubt, champagne!, Thursday, February 4, 8:15 p.m. - 10:15 p.m
    €52 for 4 champagnes and 8 cheeses, including bread and butter
    We are often asked which wine we can recommend as a universal cheese accompaniment. Our answer: "When in doubt, champagne!" The fact that acidity and perlage harmonize extremely well with the milk fat and sweetness of cheese is something we can taste together using four very different champagnes. In addition, classic and new cheeses from our cheese counter.
  • Bon courage! , Thursday, March 10, 8:15 p.m. - 10:15 p.m
    €40 for 5 cheeses and 5 wines, including an aperitif, bread and butter
    Are you curious and interested in particularly mature, hearty cheeses full of character? We also! And that's why we invite you to a test of courage. Ready for rock-hard matured goat cheese, mite-cratered hard cheese and fragrant soft cheese? Then this seminar is just right for you. With the right wines in the glass, it becomes a fun and, above all, enjoyable evening!
  • The fabulous world of sardines , Thursday March 31, 20:15 - 22:15
    €40 for 7 different sardines including aperitif, wine, bread and butter
    On the way from water to oil: accompany us with the sardine on its way from the sea to the can, learn everything about the essential processing steps that make the difference. And above all: taste sardines from different manufacturers, vintages, sizes and preparations. A selection of suitable wines is of course also on the tasting table.
