To produce this fine oil, the sesame seeds are first carefully and gently roasted before being cold-pressed in an antique granite mill. After a week of rest in the dark, during which the impurities can settle, the oil is bottled and put on sale.
The oil is not filtered and has a beautiful golden color.
Goes wonderfully with Asian and oriental dishes and is ideal for preparing beef tartare.
You can also use sesame oil for frying, for example in a wok, as it can be heated up to about 180 °C.
Cold-pressed nut oil can no longer tolerate heat after pressing, so please never use it for frying. Instead, refine your salads with a walnut vinaigrette or simply drizzle the oil over grilled goat cheese.
Store in a cool, dark place.
