Every delivery’s carbon footprint is calculated based on weight, shipping method, and distance traveled. We neutralize these emissions by purchasing verified carbon removal credits from groundbreaking projects. When you add a contribution to your order, 100% of that money is used to pay for additional carbon removal.
With your purchase, you’ll join a community of proactive merchants and customers dedicated to a sustainable future. Together, we've removed emissions for over 44 million deliveries and removed over 30 thousand tonnes of carbon.
We work with a network of pioneering carbon removal companies that have been vetted by the commerce platform Shopify.
Our personal discovery of the Millésime 2016 wine fair in Montpellier!
It's hard to believe, but tasting wine can also be exhausting. At least that's what happened to us in Montpellier in 2016. From all the tasting, we almost got tired of wine. Nobody really wanted to taste us - until we got the Crémant from Champ Divin in the glass. It just knocked us off our feet.
So refreshing, crunchy and yet soft and harmonious. Our taste buds were really tickled awake. It is a wonderfully fine sparkling crémant that brings out the best of the Jura region - coolness, minerality, fruit and elegance.
Of course we immediately ordered the first pallet to come to us in Berlin and we didn't have to regret it in any way. The Crémant is now firmly established in our range and our regular customers carry it out of the shop by the crate.
Tasting: Pomegranate color. Fine and delicate pearls. Charming nose of red currants and crushed raspberries. A lot of freshness in the mouth held by a nice straight structure, fine and slender. Explosion of aromas of red berries with a slight tension on the finish. To be discovered as an aperitif alone or in company; or for dessert with a creamy pear tart with red fruit coulis or a raspberry tart.
A consummer with moderation – a toute heure et à toute occasion! / To be enjoyed in moderation – at any time and for any occasion! (Valérie Closset-Gaziaux)

The 5 hectare "Champ Divin" (heavenly field) vineyard is located on the first plateau of the Jura in the Sud-Revermont region.
It has been run by Valérie and Fabrice Closset-Gaziaux since 2008, who took it over from the Delay family in 2008. The property features a variety of soils and is influenced by a classic continental climate with moderately cold winters and mild summers.
Here they grow Pinot Noir (2 hectares), Chardonnay (2 hectares) and Savagnin (1 hectare), also known as "Traminer".
The property is processed entirely without the use of chemicals. The vineyard is worked by hand, partially removing and partially leaving the grass so as not to upset the delicate balance of the vineyard ecosystem.
Herbal decoctions (e.g. stinging nettle and chamomile), essential oils, tinctures, as well as copper and sulfur are used in very small quantities to combat pests.
The grapes are hand-picked when they are at their best, when they have reached their full potential.
Vinification and aging are carried out with minimal use of sulfur and some of the wines are aged under a veil of flor (yeast), typical of the region, giving them aromas of dried fruit, nuts and almonds, as well as spices such as saffron and curry.
Valérie and Fabrice are naturally very close to nature - in addition to viticulture, they are also beekeepers and hobby gardeners - but they also have diplomas in agricultural engineering and marketing.
After a few longer stays abroad in Africa, they first worked for a few years as consultants for winegrowers in various regions of France before settling in the Jura.
