Some of you already tasted how well Vinho Verde from Portugal pairs with asparagus from Brandenburg last year. That's why we're repeating our festival this season—weather permitting, of course, with the traditional varieties from Demeter farmer Paul Schulz from Havelsee.
It's grown in a very traditional way without plastic cover and impresses with its beautiful bitter notes and a significantly fuller aroma. We're getting it again this year thanks to the support of Tobias Stetter from Taste & Stories – thank you very much!
This year's Vinho Verde comes from Pedro Maria Barbosa, one of the notorious Young Portuguese Winemakers currently shaking up the Portuguese and international wine scene! We were already impressed by his Vinho Verde "Clip" last year, and it just arrived.
So come along and toast the end of asparagus season with us – we look forward to seeing you and enjoying an enjoyable evening!
