Classic pomace from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from Burgundy.
Pleasantly warm in the mouth with fine barrique notes and full earthy and fruity aromas. A harmonious and characterful Marc de Bourgogne.
The very old Marc de Bourgogne Briottet is created by distilling Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape musts from the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. It gets its excellent quality from aging for more than 10 years in used oak barrels (barriques). The result is a fine complexity paired with elegant power – the perfect digestif!
The Maison Briottet from Dijon was founded in 1836 and is still family-owned today. Initially, only wines were traded, mostly from Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin.
From 1900 onwards, a distillery was purchased and began producing crème de cassis, particularly due to the increasing demand for kir.
Thanks to centuries-old knowledge, Briottet manages to assert itself against the competition. Even today, the name Briottet stands for spirits and liqueurs of the highest quality.
