The Permitido Rabigato 2019 is a characterful white wine from the Portuguese Douro region, vinified by Marcio Lopes.

The single-varietal Rabigato (100%) grows on granite soil in the Douro Superior and combines remarkable freshness with excellent aging potential.

After careful hand-picking and gentle processing in small crates, a short maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks took place, followed by eight months of maturation on the fine lees.

The wine impresses with its intense bouquet of white fruits and its distinctive aromas. On the palate, it presents itself harmoniously balanced with a long-lasting structure and refreshing acidity.

With an alcohol content of 13%, a total acidity of 6.2 g/L, a residual sugar content of 2.0 g/L and a pH of 3.2, it is an excellent accompaniment to oily fish as well as white and grilled meat.

Recommended serving temperature: 12°C. When stored properly—cool, dry, protected from light, and at a neutral temperature—the wine has an aging potential of 10 to 20 years.
