The farm "La Ferme des 3 Rois" in Puiset, Eure-et-Loir, has been run by the Desforges family for five generations. Jean-Louis Desforges grew grain until 2018, before handing the 142 hectare farm over to his sons Jérémy and Jonathan. After three years they transformed this into a certified organic farm.

The Desforges brothers expanded production to include legumes and other plant-based proteins. Under the brand "Trésors de Beauce" they offer 100% organic products, grown in an environmentally friendly manner and certified with High Environmental Value (HVE).

High quality standards and modern technologies guarantee nutrient-rich products. The farm's commitment to organic farming is based on the belief that chemical-free alternatives are not only healthier, but also more environmentally friendly.

The farm not only relies on organic farming, but also on responsible packaging. The products are packaged directly on the farm under the “Trésors de Beauce” label. Compostable paper packaging is used instead of plastic. The range includes various packaging sizes and formats, always minimizing the ecological footprint. The 400 gram packaging for end customers is completely compostable, including a plant window film and environmentally friendly ink.

Cook Chickpeas - In water or pressure cooker

Allow 150 to 200 g of cooked chickpeas per person (=75 to 100 g of raw chickpeas). Soak the chickpeas in 1.5 liters of cold water for 12 hours and then rinse.
Put the chickpeas in a pot with at least three times the amount of water and bring them to the boil.
Let the chickpeas cook until tender, between 1 and 1.5 hours.
Skim off the foam regularly.
When they are cooked, drain them.

Grilled in the oven

Carefully remove the skin from the chickpeas and pat them with a dry cloth without applying pressure.
Mix the chickpeas with a little olive oil.
Add the spices (cumin, curry, paprika or others...).
Spread the chickpeas on baking paper and then put them in the oven at 200°C for 30 to 40 minutes.
Gently salt the chickpeas as soon as they come out of the oven.

• We deliver free shipping for orders over €150.00.

Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered within Germany (Germany) within 5 to 7 working days.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment, unless we have made different agreements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item with the longest delivery time that you ordered.
