La Trinquelinette is a small manufacturer based in Trinquelin, a tiny village in Bourgogne. It was founded in 1978 by Bernard Berilley, who initially worked as a vegetable farmer but then discovered his passion for good jams.
In order to obtain the best possible quality and an incomparable taste, Bernard carefully selects his fruit: they must neither be too ripe nor too acidic. He also lets them cook for a maximum of 5 minutes in order to preserve their full aroma and their very special characteristics and to reduce the sugar concentration. All La Trinquelinette jams contain more fruit than sugar, which gives them their special taste.
The special thing about the jams from "La Trinquelinette" is that they really taste like fresh fruit and even reflect their consistency.
