In this recipe, the sardines are gently marinated in a mixture of white wine (Muscadet sur lie) and fresh herbs, which highlights their natural flavor and adds a touch of freshness to the recipe.
This tin of sardines was illustrated by the painter Yan from Quiberon, as a tribute to his friends with whom he used to reorder the world over a glass of Muscadet at the Bar La Marine in Quiberon, a true institution on the peninsula.
This recipe uses no oil at all, making it lighter but just as delicious as the other Quiberonnaise preserves.
