Legumes are an important part of a healthy and balanced diet. They are low in fat and cholesterol, but rich in fiber and protein.

The green lentils of the Anicia variety, grown and packaged at the Ferme des 3 Rois in Le Puiset, are delicious.

With their slightly nutty taste, they can be eaten in salads, as a side dish to small cured products or sausages or even as a spread.

Every year, the Ferme des 3 Rois harvests 15 tons of green lentils that come from certified organic farming.

Green lentils are a source of antioxidants, protein, fiber, iron and zinc.

The farm "La Ferme des 3 Rois" in Puiset, Eure-et-Loir, has been run by the Desforges family for five generations. Jean-Louis Desforges grew grain until 2018, before handing the 142 hectare farm over to his sons Jérémy and Jonathan. After three years they transformed this into a certified organic farm.

The Desforges brothers expanded production to include legumes and other plant-based proteins. Under the brand "Trésors de Beauce" they offer 100% organic products, grown in an environmentally friendly manner and certified with High Environmental Value (HVE).

High quality standards and modern technologies guarantee nutrient-rich products. The farm's commitment to organic farming is based on the belief that chemical-free alternatives are not only healthier, but also more environmentally friendly.

The farm not only relies on organic farming, but also on responsible packaging. The products are packaged directly on the farm under the “Trésors de Beauce” label. Compostable paper packaging is used instead of plastic. The range includes various packaging sizes and formats, always minimizing the ecological footprint. The 400 gram packaging for end customers is completely compostable, including a plant window film and environmentally friendly ink.

Cooking the green lentils with water

Allow 60g of black lentils per person.
Rinse the lenses with cold water.
Place the lentils in a pot with at least three times the amount of cold water.
Perfume the broth to your taste by adding onions, a clove of garlic or similar. add.
Bring the soup to a boil and cover the pot for 20-25 minutes.
Stir regularly to ensure everything cooks evenly, then drain.

Delivery times
