Anne Rozès' confit duck gizzards are an indispensable specialty of southwestern gastronomy.

Prepared in the traditional way, these gizzards are slowly cooked in their own fat to achieve a tender and melting texture.

This fat duck meat comes from traditional, heavy breeds raised on green pastures on a purely vegetable and mineral, non-GMO diet.

They are perfect as a side dish to a tasty salad or as an aperitif.

Anne Rozès confit duck gizzards are sold in jars and should be stored in a cool place before serving.

For optimal enjoyment, it is recommended to warm them slightly.

Manufacturer

Anne et Philippe Rozès founded the cannery in 1970, which goes back to a long family tradition in the spirits sector. Anne's kitchen and Maïté and Philippe's Renault 4L panel van full of samples were then the heart of the operation, which was based in Lahonce on the banks of the Adour. Initially, the small factory mainly produced canned duck and vegetables. Over the years, the range expanded: axoa de veau, pâté with Espelette pepper, piperade, garbure and black cherry jam... More and more retailers in the south-west trusted them: butchers, delicatessens, cheesemongers and wine cellars offered the Anne Rozès preserves from Biarritz to Bagnères-de-Bigorre and from Hendaye to the Gironde estuary.
In 1998 their son Franck took over management of the cannery and was joined by his wife Evelyne in 2007. From 2005, a partnership was established with Christian Parra, a double award-winning chef (2 Michelin stars), for three of his recipes, including that for black pudding. Christian Parra's experience and reputation opened the doors to the restaurant world and strengthened our reputation. In February 2009 we moved to our new workshop in Briscous to continue to provide quality work and comply with European standards.
Today, the Anne Rozès team consists of 15 employees. All our recipes are presented in a shop and we are happy to welcome food lovers! This summer 2021, Franck's daughter welcomes you to the shop. The Rozès family continues their adventure!

Payment and shipping

Delivery is currently only available in Germany, Austria and Denmark

Deliveries to Germany with UPS, DPD, Hermes or DHL.

  • Goods value up to €80.00 = €8.95 with DHL, €6.95 with DPD, Hermes or UPS
  • For orders over €80.00 (after deduction of all discounts) we offer free shipping.

Shipping of heavy orders

For orders with a total weight of more than 10 kg, we reserve the right to ship exclusively via the shipping service providers DPD or UPS. This measure serves to ensure a reliable and efficient shipping process for heavier shipments.

We ask for your understanding for this regulation, which enables us to ensure smooth shipping even for larger order quantities.

Deliveries to Austria and Denmark

We calculate the shipping costs based on the order value (gross value of goods):

  • Goods value up to 149.99 € = 15.00 € (UPS)
  • For orders over 150.00 € (after deduction of all discounts) we offer free shipping.
Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 to 7 working days.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.

Where do you ship to?

Delivery is currently only in Germany and Austria.

With which shipping service provider do you ship?

We currently only work with UPS or DHL. You will be asked to select a delivery method during the ordering process.

How long does it take until I receive my order?

That depends on where you are. Orders to Germany take 3 to 5 working days to arrive. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

After your shipment has left our warehouse and has been scanned by the carrier, you will receive an automatic e-mail overnight with tracking information.
