The Maison Alziari in Nice has been producing olive oil for over 100 years.

Extra virgin olive oil, mildly fruity, flavored with natural lemon extract. Excellent with: vinaigrette, vegetables, grilled fish, salads…

The majority is the Cailletier variety, which only grows around the Nice region and in Liguria in Italy. These small black olives are harvested very late - often as late as February - and produce one of the mildest olive oils in the world.

Olive oil is a natural juice that preserves the aroma, taste, vitamins and properties of the olive. It is made by pressing the olives and can be consumed in its natural state. All olive oils in our range are 'extra virgin', meaning they come exclusively from the first pressing of the olives and have not been refined by high temperatures or chemical treatments.
This way they retain their pure taste and their naturally high proportion of monounsaturated fatty acids, which offer many health benefits.

The history of the House of Alziari begins when Nicolas Alziari bought a dilapidated oil mill in the heart of Nice. After an extensive restoration, the son of a simple washerman begins to produce high-quality olive oils. The only olives available are cailletier, the only variety that grows in the area. However, in order to set itself apart from its competitors, Alziari remembers a method that is also known from winemaking: the blending of different varieties to create a cuvée that combines the best properties of different flavors. And so he travels across Europe in search of varieties that harmonize well with the local, very mild Cailletier olives. Alziari has been working on the perfect blend for several years, but the effort was worth it: the name Alziari still stands for first-class olive oils with an incomparable taste. Gradually, the business picked up speed and Nicolas' sister Pauline came to her brother's aid and from then on took care of sales while Nicolas managed production. After the death of the founder in 1955, his son Ludovic took over the business and sales is soon taken over by Pauline's son, Jean Nègre. Today the company is run by the descendants of Pauline's family. The name remains and so does the promise of quality.

  • Goods value up to €80.00 = €8.95 with DHL, €6.95 with DPD, Hermes or UPS
  • For orders over €80.00 (after deduction of all discounts) we offer free shipping.

Shipping of heavy orders

For orders with a total weight of more than 10 kg, we reserve the right to ship exclusively via the shipping service providers DPD or UPS. This measure serves to ensure a reliable and efficient shipping process for heavier shipments.

We ask for your understanding for this regulation, which enables us to ensure smooth shipping even for larger order quantities.

Deliveries to Austria and Denmark

We calculate the shipping costs based on the order value (gross value of goods):

  • Goods value up to 149.99 € = 15.00 € (UPS)
  • For orders over 150.00 € (after deduction of all discounts) we offer free shipping.
Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 to 7 working days.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.

Where do you ship to?

Delivery is currently only in Germany and Austria.

With which shipping service provider do you ship?

We currently only work with UPS or DHL. You will be asked to select a delivery method during the ordering process.

How long does it take until I receive my order?

That depends on where you are. Orders to Germany take 3 to 5 working days to arrive. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
