The chili peppers complement the composition in a subtle, spicy (not hot) way, creating a very balanced, fresh combination.
The freshly caught sardines are marinated by hand in pure, cold-pressed olive oil with a slice of confit lemon and whole chili peppers.
The result is also a real eye-catcher: the sardines lie in the golden oil like pure silver - it makes a great original starter and decorates every table! For the sake of enjoyment, however, you should definitely not miss out on the many other great creations of the incomparably rich flavor spectrum of canned sardines: sardines in a fruity sauce, in white wine, in butter, with water and lemon...
