Juicy duck breasts (Magret de canard) from ducks that were fed mainly with GMO-free corn, preserved in the finest duck fat. Classic French home cooking that warms body and soul.
Instructions for preparation: Warm the preserves in a water bath until the fat becomes liquid, then carefully remove the confit from the fat, dab it on kitchen paper, place it in an ovenproof dish in the oven without fat until the skin has turned a nice golden brown.
Don't throw the fat away afterwards! You can fry fried potatoes, mushrooms or green beans in it to give them a particularly rich flavor. Add a fresh lamb's lettuce with a walnut oil vinaigrette and it becomes a whole dish. Bon appétit!
Quality certified by the IGP seal (IGP = Indication géographique protégée), protected designation of origin.
First, the pieces of meat are rubbed with coarse sea salt from Guérande salt, in which they are then left to rest and marinate for 3 to 4 days. The meat is then covered with its own fat and slowly cooked over a low heat.
