Cassoulet is a traditional stew from southern France with white beans, bacon, sausages and confit meat of duck or, as in this case, goose.
This cassoulet is especially festive thanks to the delicate confit d'Oie from the Périgord!
The Vidal family business is based in Cénac, in the heart of the Périgord, a region known as the "Triangle d'Or," the golden triangle of France, due to its agricultural fertility. The company is managed by Pascal Vidal, who is supported by his wife, son, and eight other employees. Vidal supplies select delicatessens throughout Europe.
Pascal Vidal is a trained chef and a culinary virtuoso with a burning passion for bold flavors, which are reflected in his preserves. All of his preserves are based on traditional regional recipes, which, through modern twists, reveal entirely new taste experiences. The confits and cassoulet, in particular, are a true delight, but even the lesser-known dishes, such as the braised goose with chestnuts, are sure to make any gourmet's heart beat faster.
Special care is taken in selecting the ingredients, which come exclusively from the region and are awarded the Périgord Protected Designation of Origin seal.
