Summer long drinks with port wine, gin and other herbal elixirs

Sommer-Longdrinks mit Portwein, Gin und anderen Kräuter-Elixieren - Maître Philippe & Filles

It's summer, and we enjoy the many long, balmy evenings, celebrating the otherwise uneutonic aperitif culture and inviting the southern joie de vivre into our lives. We like to have a sparkling wine in our glass with Mediterranean finger food.

Rosé, Aperol Spritz, and even a white wine spritzer are always good options. But you can also go for something a little stronger. For example, with some creative variations of the gin and tonic: Have you tried the Portonic? It's a variation of the classic where the gin is replaced with white port wine. It tastes excitingly different and is a real hit in Portugal.

Or how about a Gin-Seng Tonic? The spirit in your glass is Dr. Jaglas Gin-Seng, a gin with the power of ginseng root.

For both drinks, you basically only need two ingredients each and some garnish, depending on your taste. Lemon, lime, and cucumber are classic ingredients, but you can also experiment with frozen blueberries and raspberries.

The good mood will then come naturally!
