On Sunday it's that time again: Cheese Berlin, the most important, biggest, most colourful, most exciting cheese event of the year, is coming to Kreuzberg's Markthalle Neun - and of course we'll be there again!
This year we will be supported at our stand by Cristiano Guffanti from Guffanti in Italy (from him we get, for example, the Taleggio, the Pecorino della Maremma and the Salva Cremasco), by Marc Birkett from Paccard from the Savoy (he is responsible for the delicacies Abondance , Beaufort and Reblochon responsible!) and by our former employee Marin Lefebvre, who represents his parents' winery, Domaine Lefebvre-d'Anselme and serves his own Rhône wines.
And because we like to lay it on thick, this year we have a few selected loaves from the cheese dairy Jamei Laibspeis from the Allgäu as a very special treat - some of them even exclusive! So this time there is the "Jamei mountain cheese 18 months" which is produced by the Fritzenhaus mountain cheese dairy especially for Jamei and our good old friend, the Mängisch - this time matured for a whole 30 months!
We would be delighted if you visit us at our stand - the experience is definitely worth the small trip!

Cheese Berlin in Markthalle Neun, Sunday November 6th, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m
And for everyone who can't make it to the market hall on Sunday, we have planned a small spontaneous tasting on Saturday - as a prelude, so to speak. Joe Schneider visits us and lets us taste his fantastic raw milk gouge! The American, who is crazy about cheese, lives and works in Great Britain, where he produces the Original Stichelton - the original Stilton, so to speak - with a lot of love and dedication. Let him tell you everything you always wanted to know about blue cheese and Stichelton in particular and let his passion infect you. We are looking forward to your visit!
