Located in the heart of the Jurançon appellation, Clos Lapeyre was bought by Jean Larrieu in 1920. His son Marcel continued to work hard to develop the Clos Lapeyre vineyard, cultivating cattle breeding and strawberry cultivation.
Today, the Clos Lapeyre vineyard is managed by Jean-Bernard Larrieu and has 17 hectares. Cattle breeding and strawberry culture were abandoned and the focus is now only on viticulture.
The vineyard is located on the slopes of the AOC Jurançon, facing south and overlooking the Pic du Midi Ossau.
The Clos Lapeyre is managed according to organic farming methods, works with the autochthonous Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng vines and produces wines with character that belong to the elite of the AOC Jurançon.
