Champagne Cuvée des Deux Soeurs Brut Nature Zero Dosage

This blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is produced using the Solera method, in which several vintages are always combined to maintain consistent quality.
Very elegant and interesting, as the two grape varieties complement each other wonderfully: the Chardonnay contributes a lively, light freshness, while the Pinot Noir provides structure and light tannins. On the nose, this Champagne displays floral notes and hints of dried plums, while on the palate, fruity aromas of mirabelle plum and exotic fruits leave a wonderfully smooth mouthfeel.
Serve it as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to fish and poultry, foie gras or fruity desserts.
Incidentally, the Cuvée des deux soeurs (of the two sisters) is named after the sisters of the current owner – one blonde, like the Chardonnay, the other dark, like the Pinot Noir...

The Moutard Champagne House has been owned by the same family since the 17th century and through several generations. It is situated in a picturesque landscape on the sun-drenched slopes of the Côte des Bar, in the southern part of the Champagne region. The soil of the Côte des Bar, composed of clay and limestone, imparts particularly rich and fruity aromas to the area's traditional grape varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which are highly prized by connoisseurs. All Moutard wines and Champagnes are made from grapes grown on their own estate or from grapes purchased from partner growers. To ensure that the Champagnes are perfectly mature and ready to be enjoyed, they age for at least three years in the cellar; vintage Champagnes are aged for ten to fifteen years.
The Moutard family's story begins in 1642. Old cellar records document these early activities as winemakers, upon which the family tradition is founded. Champagne production is the fruit of a true tradition, and each family develops its own techniques over time, continuously refining them.
