The name "Looper" symbolizes the cyclical nature of viticulture and perfectly embodies this expressive Pet-Nat from the Vinho Verde region, which skillfully combines traditional methods with a modern natural wine approach.
In a limited edition of only 900 bottles, this special wine combines Arinto and Fernão Pires grapes, which were first macerated for three days in granite vats and then fermented in stainless steel, with malolactic fermentation taking place in the bottle in the traditional way.
In the glass, complex aromas of red apple, violet and subtle mineral nuances reveal themselves, while the lively acidity and silky texture give the wine a refreshing lightness and an uncomplicated, inviting character.
Culinary-wise, this versatile wine harmonizes wonderfully with all kinds of seafood – from delicate crudo to richer shellfish dishes.
The wine names of RPM Wines & Spirits—Analogue, Looper, Equalizer, Reverb, and Overdub—form a fascinating connection between the winery and the world of music. These names are all terms from audio and music production and reflect a well-thought-out philosophy.
The winery's name itself—RPM, an acronym for founders Ricardo Moreira, José Roseira, and Daniel Pires—creates a clever ambiguity, as RPM in music stands for "Revolutions Per Minute," the rotational speed of records. This musical connection is consistently continued in the wine names.
The wines represent different aspects of sound processing.
