The Guintrand family, four generations of canners in the heart of Provence - since 1898
Apricot jam is a mixture of sugar and the pulp of fresh apricots that is boiled to a suitable gelled consistency.
The apricots of the "Orangé de Provence" variety are grown in Provence and are very aromatic. They are the ideal jam for breakfast or to accompany your pancakes.
Guintrand jams are made from fresh, ripe and healthy fruit that has been washed and trimmed. All fruit with defects are sorted out. The fruits are cored and boiled down with high-quality sugar.
The designation "extra" means that the amount of fresh fruit processed is at least 450 g per 1000 g of the final product, ie 45%.
Apricot jam is yellow-orange, light to slightly darker, gelled, of heterogeneous texture, contains pieces of fruit of irregular size with a taste and smell characteristic of the apricot of Provence.
This is a traditionally made jam that you can store away from light and heat for many years. After opening, keep in the refrigerator and consume quickly.
