Orange blossom honey (Citrus sp.) has a light amber color with yellowish reflections and turns into a yellowish-white color upon crystallization.
Its aroma is floral, with a distinct, intense and persistent fruity smell.
The taste is sweet, with a clear and very pronounced acid component.
It crystallizes slowly and in fine crystals, except when it is rich in snapdragon.
Orange blossom honey can be consumed neat or dissolved in hot or cold drinks. It pairs perfectly with herbal teas, unripened dairy products such as yogurt and cream cheese, white meats such as chicken, and fried desserts such as donuts or pesto. It also pairs perfectly with fatty desserts such as cakes or ice cream. Finally, it can also be used as an ingredient in cosmetic products.
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Due to its high purity, it may solidify in cold weather. This change in texture does not affect the properties of this product. Consume directly or mixed with other foods.
