An extremely rare Champagne made from 6 different grape varieties:
Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Blanc, Petit Meslier and Arbane
The Moutard family owns various vineyards in the communes of Buxeuil and Polisy on the Côte des Bar, the warmest region of Champagne. The 6 grape varieties of this wine form the traditional blend that people enjoyed drinking in the 19th century. The Moutard family continues to grow the unusual varieties Petit Meslier and Arbane.
This unique cuvée from all six indigenous grape varieties of the region - Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Blanc, Petit Meslier and Arbane - results in a wonderfully fragrant and floral wine with exceptional depth. A fascinating and seductive champagne, with a very fine mousse and ultra-dry.
The nose offers a feast of aromas: notes of iris, lime blossom, almond, hazelnut, peach, pear and citrus, vanilla and honey. The mouth is in harmony with the nose. The attack is open, clean and fresh. The fat content, combined with a certain wineiness, goes well with the wood. The fruity notes come back with a lot of persistence, long after the last sip.
It is ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to goat cheese, seafood or marinated fish, as well as to white meat and oriental spiced dishes and to desserts with dried fruits and nuts.
