These sardines are marinated in fine butter and lemon according to an old traditional recipe.
The butter and lemon give the recipe a creamy, sweet and refreshingly tangy note. They taste delicious both as a starter and as a main course.
Tip: Also available as a collection of 6 or as a collection of 5 in a pretty metal tin – an original gift!

Eating sardines warm is an old Breton tradition. Heating them brings out the fish's aroma in a particularly intense way.
At Belle-Iloise, all sardines are caught with the Bolinche, a special net, and immediately processed fresh.
Before olive oil began its triumphal march around the world, Breton sardines were mostly pickled in butter or Muscadet wine.
