Until the 1970s, the Hénaff company still made canned sardines in its canning factory in Audierne.
Enjoy them on a nice slice of rye bread or rustic bread with a drizzle of olive oil and a rocket leaf.
The cannery is closed today, but the centenary brand, in collaboration with the Gonidec cannery (Les Mouettes d'Arvor) in Concarneau, offers us a re-edition of the original sardine can.
