On Friday, May 20th, Dr. Christina Jagla, a passionate pharmacist, the herbal elixirs with artichoke and ginseng , the recipe of which comes from Benedictine monks and has been refined from generation to generation in the Jaglas family of pharmacists from Wuppertal, and which are now manufactured in a factory in Berlin.
In addition to artichoke and ginseng, the core of the two 35 percent elixirs include selected tinctures and essences of gentian root, centaury, cardamom, ginger root, nutmeg, zedoary, cinchona bark, bitter orange peel, juniper berries, lavender, cinnamon bark, citronella, valerian, angelica root, cloves, galangal rhizome and a hint of saffron. All ingredients meet the highest standards of the pharmacopoeia.
But the nice thing is: the elixirs are not only healthy (for digestion, for the mind, creativity and inspiration ...), but also really tasty! They taste great neat or on ice, but also as a long drink and cocktail, for example with ginger ale or crémant. Of course we will test both live!
