Mackerel fishing along the coasts of France, Spain, and Portugal embodies a centuries-old maritime tradition. These artisanal fishing methods stand in contrast to industrial fishing and are characterized by sustainability. From French paternoster angling to Spanish trolling and the Portuguese cavalão tradition, each country has developed unique techniques that combine respect for nature with culinary excellence.

Louis Lefebvre and Béatrice d'Anselme, winegrowers from the Rhône, come to visit and serve a selection of their wines. Her son Marin, himself an aspiring winemaker and currently part of Maître Philippe & Filles, provides active support. Cassoulet is a type of stew from southern France traditionally made with white beans, bacon, cured meat and sausages. The cassoulet owes its name to the preparation in a "cassole", an earthenware or earthenware pot. If you haven't tried this hearty dish yet, now is the chance to finally get to know this sumptuous delicacy.

On July 14th, the French national holiday, we don't sing "aux armes, citoyens!" but far more peaceful, brotherly and sisterly "auf fourchettes, les copains!" (on the forks, friends!) and throw on the grill to celebrate the day. Merguez and French sausages are grilled, as well as delicious vegetarian alternatives. There is also pastis and wine, just as it should be. Come by and toast with us!

What makes even gray days shine in a friendly light? A really good breakfast! This will be particularly tasty with the delicious trout from the Pyrenees, which we serve on Saturday for trout breakfast. It quickly becomes clear that it doesn't always have to be salmon. The table is set from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – while stocks last! We are looking forward to your visit!

Champ Divin's Crémant du Jura has been the undisputed team favorite for about 3 years. So it was really time to finally visit the winemaker couple Valérie and Fabrice Closset on site. In addition to Crémant, we were able to taste many other very special and typical Jura wines.

At the beginning of June we took the whole family on a small wine tour from Champagne, through Burgundy to the Jura and visited some winegrowers. You learn best when you can see, hear, feel and taste where the wine comes from. Besides, nothing beats personal relationships! A highlight of the five-day trip was the visit to Champagne Moutard in Buxeuil, one of the smallest communes of the Côte des Bar in southern Champagne. Breakfast is one of the nicest meals of the day and always gives us an even better start to the day (and into the weekend)! That's why on Saturday 24 September we're celebrating our French breakfast again and ringing in the weekend with a tasting table full of sweet and savory delicacies, brioche and butter!

On Friday the 7th August is the traditional celebration of the new garlic harvest in Lautrec in southern France. A good reason for us to do the same thing in Wilmersdorf, a few days late , on August 19th : We will serve you our favorite rosé wines in color and culinary style to match the fresh, spicy bulbs. And if you dress according to the motto, we will reward you with a little surprise...

After spending a full three hours at the Champagne Moutard booth at this year's Prowein wine trade fair, tasting their entire range, we are delighted that Benoît Moutard, the youngest son of the house, is now visiting us in Berlin to present us and you with a beautiful selection of his treasures. A sparkling experience guaranteed! The Moutard Champagne House has a long history and has been in the hands of the eponymous family since its founding in 1642. Since we have a passion for family businesses and outstanding products, it was only natural that we partner with Moutard.
