Rue Traversette (meaning "back alley street") is a small, traditional company based in the beautiful Languedoc region of southern France, nestled between two fields, three hills and the Mediterranean Sea. Here, halfway between Béziers and Montpellier, in Saint André de Sangonis (in the Hérault department), Stéphane Strobl has fulfilled a heart's desire with the opening of his vegetable conservatory: to bring the genuine taste of fresh field fruits into the glass and into the world.
Founder Stéphane and his team share a passion for cooking and eating together. They peel, chop and cook together... New combinations of fruit, vegetables, spices and edible plants are constantly being tried out with curiosity. And so, since 2005, everything the plant world has to offer that is good and beautiful has been preserved in the kitchen and the adjoining rooms on Rue Traversette. The main ingredient that must never be missing: creativity!
The range includes vegetables, fruits and spices - imaginatively transformed into original vinaigrettes, vegetable creams to die for, fabulous mustards ... a combination of intense and original flavors. A colorful and varied range of products, sun-kissed and typically southern France, ideal for an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a good meal with friends.
