Try the vintage sardines of the 2024 season.
The first sardines of the season are caught between June and July by the Bolincheurs from Concarneau on the Atlantic coast, respecting a sustainable marine ecosystem.
The fresh sardines are carefully selected to fill these limited edition cans. Collectors take note!

Like good wine, sardines mature over time and become better the longer they are stored. That is why many cans have the year of the catch noted on them and are referred to as "vintage sardines".
We currently have many vintages on offer. The sardines taste best when the oil has penetrated them well from all sides.
We recommend turning the can every 6 months and not opening it until at least one year later.
You will definitely taste the difference: the more mature sardines are much more tender and have a more intense flavor and practically melt in your mouth. Younger sardines simply have more bite, the meat is much firmer and has not absorbed as much oil.
