This Eau de Vie de Poire Williams is full of floral aromas and delicately tart fruit notes.
The Williams pear is, in a sense, the Edith Piaf of pears, and it is perfectly suited for making the finest Eau de Vie.
These are pears from southern France, grown near Avignon on the Rhône island of Barthelasse, and are among the best in their class. The number one raw material for the production of high-quality fruit brandy.
The pears are harvested fully ripe and immediately fermented. They are then distilled to capture the fruit's intense aromas. The end product is a truly perfect pear brandy, ideally enjoyed after a good meal.
