This Eau de Vie de Poire Williams is full of floral aromas and delicate, tart fruit notes.

The Williams pear is, in a sense, the Edith Piaf of pears and is perfect for producing the finest eau de vie.

In this case, these are pears from southern France, which grow near Avignon, on the Rhône island of Barthelasse, and are among the best in their class. The number 1 raw material for the production of high-quality fruit brandy.

The pears are harvested when fully ripe and fermented immediately. They are then distilled to capture the intense flavors of the fruit. The end product is a completely perfect pear brandy that is ideal to enjoy after a good meal.

The Maison Briottet from Dijon was founded in 1836 and is still family-owned today. At first, only wines were traded, mostly from Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin. From 1900 a distillery was bought and started to produce crème de cassis, especially because of the increasing demand for kir.

Through the centuries-old knowledge, Briottet succeeds in asserting itself against the competition. Even today, the name Briottet stands for spirits and liqueurs of the highest quality.
