This bright orange cider vinegar from Pierre Huet in Normandy is characterized by a fruity nose with a beautiful apple note and a pronounced acidity (5%).

There is a hint of mustard and smoke in the mouth. The vinegar is strong and can be combined well with something sweet.

It is particularly suitable for deglazing and for preparing sauces, vinaigrettes, mayonnaises and marinades.

Storage: in a place protected from light.

Since this vinegar is a natural product, a mother of vinegar can form in the opened bottle after a few weeks. The best way to remove this is to filter the vinegar. You can also save it to make your own vinegar.

The Pierre Huet house has a long family tradition - the company was founded in 1865 - and is now run by the fifth generation. The company is mainly known for Calvados and cider, but also produces other premium apple-based products, such as cider vinegar.

Le Manoir "La Brière des Fontaines" is a magnificent property with a long Calvados tradition and probably one of the most beautiful cellars in Normandy. As early as 1941, Pierre Huet's cellar was chosen as a showcase for a commission that was to define the "Calvados" appellation. Perhaps he is not entirely innocent of the fact that the "Pays d'Auge" is the only region to receive its own appellation.

  • For orders over €80.00 (after deduction of all discounts) we offer free shipping.

Shipping of heavy orders

For orders with a total weight of more than 10 kg, we reserve the right to ship exclusively via the shipping service providers DPD or UPS. This measure serves to ensure a reliable and efficient shipping process for heavier shipments.

We ask for your understanding for this regulation, which enables us to ensure smooth shipping even for larger order quantities.

Deliveries to Austria and Denmark

Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 to 7 working days.

Ein kräftiger Essig mit Charakter!

Schöne Apfelnote. Auf den zweiten Geschmack überraschenderweise etwas nach Senf und Rauch schmeckend. Der Essig ist kräftig und kann gut mit etwas Süße kombiniert werden. Insgesamt toll.
