Conceito's Fine Ruby represents the winery's base wine and is a delightful blend of traditional Douro grapes, including Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Rufete and more than 20 other varieties.
It is made from grapes from old vines that are an impressive 80 years old. The winemaking combines traditional granite fermentation warehouses with mechanical and modern techniques to ensure quality and precision.
This fine ruby red port wine presents itself with an intense ruby red color and youthful violet reflections. The aroma is full-bodied and fruity, with intense notes of ripe red berries such as cherries, blackcurrants and raspberries, accompanied by subtle spice nuances such as cinnamon and cloves. On the palate it is fruity and youthful, with pleasant sweetness, freshness and a slight acidity for a balanced structure. The fruity notes of red berries are in the foreground and are complemented by spicy undertones.
This Fine Ruby Port should be enjoyed young to fully showcase its fresh and fruity character. Serve it at 18 degrees Celsius. It is versatile and fits perfectly as an aperitif or as a delicious end to meals. It goes particularly well with chocolate desserts, fruit cakes and mature cheeses.
