A little trip to the Mediterranean, wrapped in orange, yellow, and azure blue: For this box, La Belle-Iloise has selected four recipes that taste of sunshine, sometimes salty, sometimes tangy, sometimes with a hint of spice.

The metal tin comes from France and is meant to be kept, as a lunch box, for small items, or as a collectible on the shelf.

Inside are four cans: sardines in olive oil with lemon, the Conserverie classic with whole sardines, extra virgin olive oil, and a touch of lemon. An Émietté of mackerel with herbs and lemons from Menton, fine mackerel fillets with caramelized onions, tomatoes, and herbs of Provence, for spreading or pasta. A mousse of white tuna with basil, light and creamy, for toast and apéritifs. And, without fish, a concassé of red lentils with seaweed and curry, a spreadable dip with sweet potato and coconut milk that will also please vegetarians at the table.

On top is a gold-plated metal magnet from Poussière des Rues, a small screen-printing workshop in Lyon. It holds on the refrigerator, on the mirror, or as a brooch on the coat.
