The classic French pocket knife! Elegance and reliability.
The unique grain of olive wood lends this Savoyard knife a Mediterranean flair. A classic for lovers of this distinctive wood.
Oak is a hard and very durable wood. It comes from French forests and has a yellow-brown appearance with straight and regular grain. Thanks to its lacquer finish, the handle is protected against moisture and dirt.
Walnut wood is a durable wood, ideal for your outdoor DIY projects. The lacquer applied to the handle provides protection against moisture and stains. It is also equipped with a Virobloc® safety ring, which allows you to lock the blade in either the open or closed position.
The dark tones of the walnut wood will enhance your Opinel.
The knife features an 8.5 cm stainless steel blade that promises a perfect cut and easy maintenance. The handle, made of olive wood sourced from France, is hard, durable, and comfortable to hold. A Virobloc safety ring is included to lock the blade in the open or closed position.
The modified Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel has been specially adapted for Opinel and is known for its sharpness and ease of maintenance. The stainless steel has undergone a thermal treatment called martensite, resulting in exceptional durability. With a carbon content of at least 0.40%, it achieves a very satisfying edge while remaining resistant to corrosion. The blade hardness is 57-59 HRC.
This knife should not go in the dishwasher!
