The naturally fragrant Camargue rice Canavere is a rice that belongs to the white long grain rice family. Its completely natural fragrance comes from the plant that grows in the rice fields of the Camargue. This type of rice is similar to Basmati rice (rice from Asia) in size, color and smell. It is a rice that gives an exotic touch to any dish.

The packaging was designed by the painter Michel Tombereau from Nîmes. It has a long cooking time and remains firm after cooking, "al dente".

Cooking time: 15 minutes

To cook the Camargue Canavere fragrant rice, you need to heat a pot of lightly salted water. Put the natural fragrant rice IGP Camargue Canavere in the pot and let it cook on low heat for 15 minutes. You will notice its scent very quickly while cooking. Toss the rice and serve immediately. This is a rice that's enough on its own, you don't necessarily need to flavor it with other spices.

The company is committed to sustainable agriculture while offering a local product made entirely in France, in the Camargue, within a radius of 30 km at most. Rice is controlled from the field to the consumer's plate. Rice cultivation allows the preservation of an ecosystem and biodiversity typical of this region. Without paddy fields, the Camargue would be just a salt marsh and there would be no more flora and fauna.
