We invite you to discover this original recipe of scallop rillettes.

An Iodic Odyssey. This refined alliance elegantly combines the delicate flavor of scallops with the softness of Noirmoutier fleur de sel. A noble harmony where the salty scents sublimate the hazelnut notes of the delicate shellfish.

Perfect for unexpected spontaneous aperitifs and parties, surprise visitors, a relaxed picnic or for festive moments.

Serving suggestion:
Put
or spread the delicious spreads on toasted bread and grill in the oven for a few minutes so that the top layer turns nice and golden brown and crispy. Or simply put the rillettes on a crunchy chicory leaf or serve them on blinis.

With these rillettes you can make a big impression and make all your guests happy in no time at all!

Manufacturer

La Perle des Dieux was founded in 2005 in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, a once renowned fishing port in Brittany. The two founders are Philippe Gendreau, whose family has been in the sardine business for four generations, and Claudie Vardelle, a passionate foodie and former manager of a Parisian fashion store.

The love for sardines is the engine behind la Perle des Dieux, which is why all products are carefully made by hand and only freshly caught sardines are processed. Only vintage sardines are produced, which get better and better over time, and the design of each edition comes from selected young artists. This reflects the feminine side of sardine production - because women have always worked in the factories.

All products are handcrafted from carefully selected ingredients and prepared according to old original recipes and impress with their good taste.

details

Gomasio is a traditional seasoning mixture consisting of roasted sesame seeds and salt. The name "Gomasio" comes from Japanese and is made up of "goma" for sesame and "shio" for salt. This mixture originally comes from Japanese cuisine, but has also been used in other Asian countries such as China and Korea.

Making Gomasio is easy. First, the sesame seeds are dry-roasted in a pan to intensify their aroma. The roasted sesame seeds are then ground with salt or crushed in a mortar to a fine or coarse mixture. The amount of salt varies depending on personal taste and can be adjusted depending on the recipe or preferences.

Gomasio is often used as a table seasoning or to refine various dishes. It gives dishes a nutty aroma and a slight salty note. Gomasio is particularly popular as a topping for rice, pasta, vegetable dishes and salads. Since sesame seeds are rich in nutrients such as calcium, iron, magnesium and vitamin E, Gomasio can also be a good way to introduce these nutrients into your diet.

In addition, gomasio is often considered a healthier alternative to pure salt because the addition of sesame allows the amount of salt to be reduced without affecting the taste. However, it is always advisable to use salt and spices in moderation to ensure a balanced diet.
