Françoise Fleuriet originally comes from the north of France, but she settled in the department of Charente, in the west-central part of the country, very close to the Cognac appellation, 25 years ago. The trained cook lives and works here in a traditional farmhouse, which is also a garden, kitchen and laboratory for her many handmade products. These are prepared in small quantities from home-grown fruit on site, depending on how much and what is in season. No artificial additives, preservatives or colorings are used.
