The white Conceito Único is obtained from a specific plot of a very old vineyard, more than 100 years old. It is the new top product from Conceito Vinhos and is only produced in exceptional years. But that's not enough. It is important that the oenological team led by Rita Marques understand that these special grapes will not miss, will not diminish or cause even the slightest change to the profile of the white Conceito. It is therefore a wine of exceptional rarity, with incredible precision and definition, an expected longevity of 25 years or more, and which immediately established itself on the market as a cult white wine. Recommended for delicate fish, for haute cuisine dishes.

The Conceito Unico is a white wine of enormous complexity, concentration and aromatic intensity. It is a velvety white wine with aromas of ripe citrus fruits, such as orange peel, ripe apricots and balsamic notes.

It shows notes of dried fruits, notes of wet stone and high acidity.

It goes well with fine fish and seafood such as zander, sea bream, loup de mer, lobster, lobster and scallops, as well as risottos, veal, Bresse chicken...

Anyone who is interested in the wines from the Douro Valley cannot ignore Rita Marques Ferreira. She is currently one of the most highly traded new generation winemakers in this region. Their wines regularly receive the best ratings from international wine critics.

Rita's family has been growing wine in the upper Douro for several generations. She learned her craft in Bordeaux and then worked as a “flying winemaker” in New Zealand and South Africa. Now she has returned to her roots and holds the scepter of the winery firmly in her hand.
An impressive 85 hectares of vineyards are cultivated by hand at an altitude of 500 meters. The approach is generally very close to nature and consciously avoids the use of herbicides and systemic plant protection products.
She sells part of the harvest to other wineries. Every year she selects the best vineyards for her own winery and produces elegant, fresh wines with lots of freshness and minerality. Everything is well thought out because Rita has a concept. Hence the name: Conceito.

Grape Varieties: Field blend of at least 10 different traditional Douro vines, including Rabigato, Códega do Larinho, Códega, Gouveio, Donzelinho Branco, Folgazão, Arinto.
Alcohol: 13% vol.
Acid: 6.6 g/l
pH: 3.02
Residual sweetness: 1.1 g/l
Vinification: Manual harvest, chilling of the grapes, no destemming, soft pneumatic pressing. After pressing, the wine was fermented at a controlled temperature in French oak barrels. The wine was then transferred to new French oak barrels, where it remained in contact with fine lees and regularly stirred for 11 months before being clarified, decanted and bottled.

Where do you ship to?

Delivery is currently only in Germany and Austria.

With which shipping service provider do you ship?

We currently only work with UPS or DHL. You will be asked to select a delivery method during the ordering process.

How long does it take until I receive my order?

That depends on where you are. Orders to Germany take 3 to 5 working days to arrive. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
