Blanquette de Veau – veal stew

Blanquette or veal stew is a traditional French cuisine recipe based on marinated veal cooked in a broth of water, white wine, carrots, leeks, onions, mushrooms, bouquet garni and then coated in a white sauce with cream and butter. This white sauce gives the dish its name: Blanquette (blanc = French white).

Serving suggestion: In France, Blanquette de veau is traditionally served with potatoes or rice. We recommend the naturally fragrant white rice from the Camargue . Add some fresh parsley et bon appétit!
